ETHOS
I believe that the best business practices are sustainable, realistic, and authentic to you as a person. I believe our choices about our craft help shape tomorrow’s world, hopefully one that’s more equitable, more restful, more loving, less consumption-driven, and more community-oriented.
I’ll never try to sell you on something you don’t need, and my goal is always to set you up for long-term success.
This also means:
I strongly believe in collaboration over competition.
I believe in quality over quantity, and in neither doing nor taking more than we need.
I believe that there is plenty of work to go around, and I believe that no matter how many other people do what you do, your work is unique because you are making it, and you are a little bit magic.
I believe in balancing personality with professionalism—put your best foot forward and show your true self!
Most importantly, I believe in sustainability—not just in an environmental sense, but also in a human sense. I believe in finding a way to be online that works for you and your business while supporting a healthy, balanced lifestyle, because we all deserve that.
ORIGIN STORY
As a child, I was exceptionally good at untying gnarly knots—something about trying to turn chaos into function appealed to me, and I loved being able to help my friends and classmates with their problems.
I still love problem-solving and helping people; however, the knots I work on now look a little different (and usually a lot more digital).
My creative process still pulls from many of the same skills I learned then, but I now use them to communicate clearly, improve marketing efficacy, and make the world a bit more beautiful.
I believe my work stands on its own, but I’ve also got years of relevant work experience in graphic design, ecommerce, photography, and social media, and a certificate from Emily Carr in ux/ui design.

I’m currently based in Los Angeles, CA but am a dual US/Canadian citizen and regularly work on both sides of the border—a major perk of [mostly] digital work!
