Jillian Rae branding, website, shop assets, and onesheet.
Jillian is a Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter with wild violin chops and pipes that’ll blow your ears right off—and, when we met, she was looking for a bit of an overhaul on her personal brand.
Branding
Prior to us working together, Jillian had never had a logo or set professional branding, and she had decided it was time.
After a meeting where we explored her goals, her new direction as an artist, and the image she wanted to project, I got to work on designing a new look for her that would balance a confident, rock ‘n’ roll persona with her trademark approachability. We wanted to channel some of the energy of her role models (Stevie Nicks, Jimi Hendrix, and several other 60s/70s icons) while maintaining what is uniquely Jillian.
We settled on a wordmark (a text-only logo) looked at a variety of different font options and combinations, and settled on two full sets—one more showy and decorative, and one more “business,” but both bold and ‘60s-reminiscent with personality and professionality in a healthy balance.
As always with logo design, each final set has several variations and orientations for different use cases from small to large.

and Final Branding
Shop Assets
Selling your own merch is a super-important part of being an indie musician, and putting your best foot forward is important! Jillian’s partner took some gorgeous new on-white product photos prior to the launch and we decided to include some mockups to make the listings come alive. Select assets included below!
Shop Before & After
I know I can’t be the only one that loves a good reveal, right? Watch the quick video below to see the shop’s transformation from before we worked together to the live look now!
Onesheet
No artist’s website would be complete without a onesheet (normally on an unlinked EPK page). See the one I designed for Jillian below!
Website Before & After
Before
While Jillian loved the colorful, in-your-face nature of her old site, she wanted to simplify visually and make site navigation easier for visitors—and project an image that was a little less country, a little more rock ‘n’ roll.
After—Final Product
You’re so close!
If you’re here, you probably need a new website (and maybe some new branding).
